Terms and Conditions
ORDERS, PLEASE NOTE:
NCL of Wisconsin, Inc. supplies reagents and laboratory equipment to municipal and industrial laboratories for use in established test procedures, by personnel trained in correct usage and safety requirements. Orders from individuals are respectfully declined. Orders for anything to be used for experimental purposes are respectfully declined. Orders from hospitals, clinics, physicians, or for any medical or diagnostic purposes are respectfully declined.
There is no minimum order. We offer instant credit to municipalities. We may require credit information from businesses and private testing laboratories to establish an open account. Unless otherwise specified, all orders are F.O.B. our plant. Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date. All merchandise remains the property of NCL of Wisconsin, Inc. until it is paid for in full. For your convenience we now accept ACH electronic transfers, as well as VISA, Mastercard, and American Express.
All prices are current as of the time of publication. We will do our best to hold prices as long as we can. However, manufacturer’s price increases and inbound shipping costs are beyond our control, and occasionally price increases are necessary.
Non-catalog items are not returnable for any reason. Used items are not returnable for any reason. No returns will be accepted unless NCL is notified within 10 days of the receipt of your order. No returned merchandise will be accepted without prior authorization. There is a 20% restocking charge on all returned merchandise unless it is the result of a shipping error.
We ship your orders by common carriers, who assume the responsibility of safe delivery to you. We highly recommend that you open all packages in the presence of the driver, before you sign for them, especially if there is visible damage. Failure to do so may limit your rights if damage is found later.
If damage occurs, make notations of the damages on the Bill of Lading before the truck driver leaves. Otherwise, any liability for damage falls back on you, the customer. If the merchandise is being delivered by UPS or FedEx, any visible damage should be brought to the attention of the driver. If the damage is slight, open the package in the presence of the driver. If the damage is severe, or if the driver refuses to allow you to open the package pending acceptance, reject the package. In all cases, notify NCL immediately.
All products manufactured by NCL are guaranteed to meet stated specifications when they leave our plant. Conditions of storage and use are beyond our control and limit the shelf-life of most products. For items not manufactured by NCL, manufacturers are responsible for their warranties, including terms and limitations. In all instances, liability of NCL of Wisconsin, Inc. is limited to replacement of the product or refund of the purchase price.
We have attempted to include as much safety information as possible within the restriction of our label size. Since many reagents are toxic in nature, they must be handled only by qualified individuals who are trained in the applicable procedures and are familiar with potential hazards. Safety Data Sheets are available to all of our customers on our website and paper copies are available for a nominal fee.
By purchasing items of a chemical nature from NCL of Wisconsin, Inc., the customer accepts responsibility for proper disposal of the same, including the containers. Customers agree and understand that NCL of Wisconsin, Inc. does not offer disposal services or recommendations for disposal of any chemicals. These conditions apply to every order.
